Hello, I'm Alan Dawe, the founder of Life Magic Healing Centre in Howick, East Auckland. I am originally from the UK, although I grew up in South Africa. I came to New Zealand in 1982 and very much consider Auckland my home. I am married to a lovely Aucklander, Barb, and between us we have 3 adult daughters, 5 grandchildren and a cat called Quiz. In my spare time I enjoy listening to music or watching a music or comedy DVD.

I have been self-employed for 24 years, as a business consultant, a computer software developer, website developer and more recently as an NLP Practitioner, writer and now a Journey Practitioner. I have been studying and absorbing The Journey® over a four year period, and was accredited in January 2009.

The Journey® is a wonderful modality and I am really fortunate to have become part of this healing practice. Although Life Magic has been in existence since 2004, it is only since I have embraced The Journey® that I feel that I can dedicate my professional life to the Centre. I now have the tools to assist clients achieve exceptional and life-affirming results.

In 2010 and 2011 I have completed the Visionary Leadership Programme which is an adjunct programme to The Journey®. It has been developed and presented by Kevin Billett, husband of Brandon Bays, author of The Journey. Visionary Leadership adds wonderful new skills and new depth to the work that I do.

Following the success of my Weekly Healing Emails, I have also become a writer, with my first full-length non-fiction work, The God Franchise, available from Life Magic Publishing, from online bookshops and selected bookshops in New Zealand, in early 2012.

For almost three years I have used the wonderful premises pictured below. Unfortunately, with the retirement of my landlord in December 2011, I have had to move. I now operate from home, still in Howick. All visits are therefore by appointment please.

On another note, I believe so much in the Journey Process work that my work colleague and her husband have done a process, she can now eat food with gluten, something she hasn't done since age 10, she is in her late 40's now. My sister-in-law has done a process and said she noticed her way of thinking had changed that same afternoon after seeing you. She hasn't experienced the suffering she has been going through lately, and I have another lady and her daughter just finished reading the book and wanting to do a process.”
